Wyden co-sponsors transportation bill despite threat of Bush veto

WASHINGTON - Despite a veto threat from President Bush, Sens. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Jim Talent, R-Mo., proposed legislation Tuesday that would use federal bonds to pay for transportation systems throughout the country.
