Bend-La Pine schools face possible $9 million in cuts

With the failure of Measure 30, the state may slice up to $9 million from the Bend-La Pine School District's 2004-2005 budget. Just exactly how much money the district will lose remains unclear, but those cuts could result in fewer school days or a smaller staff.
