Burglars steal from Humane Society

Burglars stole about $5,000 worth of equipment from the Humane Society of the Ochocos in Prineville sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

About $368 in cash and checks was also taken from the cash register, which was destroyed by the burglars, said Telena Smith, shelter manager.....
