Redmond discovers $1 million surplus

Funds could be rolled over into next year's budget

REDMOND - After all the bills were paid, the city of Redmond ended the 2002-03 fiscal year with about $1 million more than officials thought it would.

Redmond city councilors put the money into a capital reserve fund at a Jan. 13 meeting while they decide what to do with it.
