Storm eats much of Bend's snow removal budget

As snow continued to pile up in Central Oregon on Monday, so did the costs for keeping the streets clear.

Brandon Raz, street supervisor for Bend, said he would guess that the cost of street maintenance for Monday could be $100,000 for plowing and sanding.

He said that's a pretty big chunk out....
