Vera June Nelson of Bend died Dec. 21 of natural causes. She was 85.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Stone Lodge Retirement Center in Bend.

Mrs. Nelson was born July 4, 1918, in Minden Township, Iowa, to Dessie and Minnie Addison.....
