Locals say beef sales are still going strong

Despite this week's news of the nation's first confirmed case of mad cow disease, beef sales haven't slumped in Central Oregon, managers at some grocery stores and restaurants said.

Managers said that while they have been inundated with calls, they've been able to reassure concerned customers....
