Recall of meat ordered by federal officials

Several supermarket chains locally are removing product from freezers

Supermarket chains with stores in Central Oregon decided on Wednesday to remove meat possibly linked to a Mabton, Wash., dairy cow believed to have suffered from mad cow disease.
