Convicted former Deschutes County sheriff faces felony charges for alleged sale of weapon

Greg Brown, a former Deschutes County sheriff serving a 33-month prison term for embezzlement, was indicted by a grand jury last Friday on two felony counts of theft for selling a sheriff's assault weapon to a Redmond resident.
