Former Deschutes commissioner won't be subject of breach-of-ethics inquiry

SALEM - A breach-of-ethics complaint filed this summer against former Deschutes County Commissioner Linda Swearingen has been dropped.

The now-moot complaint accused Swearingen, 46, of failing to register properly with the state as a paid lobbyist.
