Medicare plan rates now to be set by risk

Companies paid to not discriminate against the very ill

To prevent private health plans from discriminating against seniors who are often ill, the federal government plans to pay companies that offer Medicare + Choice plans, such as Clear Choice Health Plans in Bend, more money for sicker clients.
