Mount Bachelor sets its opening day

A couple of good snowfalls could mean an early start to the ski season

The snow has been falling, hats and gloves have found frigid heads and fingers and the first day of the ski season has been set at Mount Bachelor.

With eight to 12 inches of snow now on the mountain, and the ski resort expecting an additional 21 inches within the next two weeks, Bachelor....
