Bull trout redds hit record mark

A record number of bull trout spawning beds have been found in a recent survey of six tributaries of the Metolius River.

In 15.1 miles of streams surveyed, 948 spawning beds, called redds, were counted. That easily outdistances the previous record of 760 redds found in 2001. It is also about 35....
