Chester Willey of Bend died Thursday of natural causes. He was 89.

Mr. Willey was born Aug. 13, 1914, in Chester, Mass. He married Fern (Klinkhammer) Willey on Dec. 12, 1939, in Reno, Nev.

He served in the Army during World War II.
