First-class meet back in Bend

One of the premier high school cross country events has returned to Central Oregon after a one-year hiatus.

The Bend Cross Country Classic, formally known as the Lava Bear Classic, will attract more than 30 schools to Drake Park for a series of races beginning Saturday morning at 10 o'clock.
