Sisters to seek disaster status

SISTERS - After being encouraged by city officials and the local chamber of commerce, more than a dozen businesses here plan to ask Gov. Ted Kulongoski to declare Sisters an economic disaster area.

The designation would allow businesses here and in Camp Sherman to apply for low-interest loans....
