Local air commuters forge a culture

It's 4:35 a.m. at Redmond Airport and the travel day is getting under way. There's activity, but not the brisk, hustling kind that happens after the sun is up.

At this hour, the sound is muted as semi-conscious travelers clutching coffee in paper cups plod through security.
