Oregon scores high on SATs

Bend-La Pine students above average in math but score low on verbal section

Bend-La Pine School District students outscored their peers in the state in the mathematical portion of the SAT exam, while they fell below the state average in the verbal section, according to results released Tuesday.

Overall, Bend-La Pine posted an average score of 544 in math, 17 points....
