Two Redmond women die in accident

Two Redmond women - Betty Ann Eccleston, 79, and her daughter, Peggy Kay Thoma, 54 - were killed Monday night when their minivan was hit head-on by a pickup on Highway 26 near Rhododendron at Mount Hood.

The 6:45 p.m. crash occurred at milepost 46, between Rhododendron and Government Camp, said....
