Forest Service seeking $5.8 million for nursery

The U.S. Forest Service made an offer to sell the 185-acre Pine Nursery property to Bend's park district Friday for $5.8 million.

The board of the Bend Metro Park and Recreation District decided, however, to try and negotiate a lower price.
