When Ron Alvarez's shift at The Twins radio station ends in the middle of a sunny afternoon, he flips on a "Budweiser" baseball cap, slips on a small backpack and slides on some shades.
Clad in shorts and hiking shoes, he heads out for a 35-minute, two-mile walk to his east Bend home....
