Mixed news for region's juvenile centers

Budget reopens some facilities, but others will remain closed

SALEM - The new budget for the state's juvenile corrections agency is a mixed bag for Central and Eastern Oregon.

The shuttered 50-bed juvenile detention facility in Harney County will be reopened in phases, but the Ochoco Youth Correctional Facility in Prineville will remain closed.
