Elks owner apologizes for airing off-color sound bite at ballpark

It wasn't the kind of error that appears in the linescore. It WAS the kind that the Bend Elks hope never happens again.

‘‘An inexcusable error on our part,'' is what Elks owner Jim Richards called the inadvertent airing of a recorded sound bite that contained some rather salty language.
