Emotions run high at fund-raising event

Larry Barker of Bend has seen breast cancer take its toll on people he loves. His first wife, Dottie West Barker, died of the disease almost 15 years ago.

His second wife, Jo-Ann Ray, 59, is a breast cancer survivor.
