Dan Di Spaltro hit the finish line, right hand raised with baton tightly grasped. A look of accomplishment showed in his face.

It was a feeling shared by his Bend High track and field teammates on Saturday.

Di Spaltro and the Lava Bears won the meet's final event, the 4-x-400 relay, to wrap up....
