Judge rules diocese can transfer church funds

Ruling allows transfer of millions in property and money to individual parishes

Deschutes County Circuit Judge Michael Adler decided Wednesday to allow the Diocese of Baker to transfer millions in church property and money to individual parishes, despite $69 million in pending sex abuse lawsuits against the diocese.
