Crown Pacific closing down Gilchrist sawmill temporarily

Crown Pacific will temporarily close down its three sawmills in Gilchrist, Port Angeles, Wash., and Marysville, Wash., after the last shift Friday, April 25.

The shutdown will affect as many as 40 of the 120 workers in Gilchrist, 20 of the 89 workers in Port Angeles, and 30 out of the 41 in....
