Johnson to join Bend City Council

The Bend City Council appointed Linda Johnson on Tuesday to fill the seat of Kathie Eckman, who left the council to work for Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore.

Johnson, 52, is the associate provost for community relations and development at the Oregon State University Cascades Campus.
