Storms that hammered the Central Oregon Cascades last week gave a significant boost to snowpack levels.

But rain and high temperatures that hit the region on Monday and Tuesday have already begun to reduce the gains made by those storms, said Jon Lea, a hydrologist in the Portland snow survey....
