Qwest posts weak earnings

Phone company forecasts more losses, hopes for profits from DSL

Shares of Qwest Communications Intl. fell more than 7 percent Wednesday after releasing weak fourth quarter and year-end earnings numbers while forecasting more losses for 2003.

The news comes just one week after the local telephone company said it would have to restate $2.2 million in revenues.....
