Senators hold dialogue with Bend-area residents

Kathy Benitez fought back sobs as she told U.S. Sens. Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden what will happen to her 7-year-old mentally ill son, Jonathan, at the end of this month.

In less than two weeks, Jonathan won't have any place to go to school, Benitez said during the senators' joint town hall....
