Local high school cross-country ski teams tap pool of used equipment

Area high school ski coaches agree that stocking a pool of used equipment has been an invaluable recruitment tool.

Now in its fourth season, the cross-country division of the Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association fields a record 238 skiers - up from a mere 30 in its first season.
