Larry Lancaster's yellow Ski-Doo Summit snowmobile can do about 90 mph, but the machine's top speed was no help Friday.

It still took him more than four hours to mark Saturday's 40-mile stage of the Atta Boy 300 sled dog race. He had to stop about 50 times to plant a new sign or fix....
