Habit of looking at license plates brings end to two-week manhunt

BAKER CITY - Linda Martin's habit of looking at license plates led police to the arrest of Edward Morris in a parking lot here.

Martin, who lives in Portland, and her brother Thom, from southwest Washington, saw a gray 1993 Dodge Caravan minivan Saturday.
