Wildfire prevention remains a hot topic

Forest management is focus of concern for all involved

Frost and snow in the mountains may have dealt a blow to the Oregon wildfire season, but even as the ashes cool, a lively debate over forest management still burns.

Fires burned nearly 1 million acres in Oregon this summer, making the state second only to Alaska in the amount of acreage burned.....
