COCC cuts 40 jobs to save $2 million

Central Oregon Community College will lay off 40 full-time employees to deal with a possible $3 million budget shortfall, President Bob Barber announced Wednesday.

"This is not about bad programs or bad professors," Barber said. "This is about a bad economy."
