Arson task force seeks help from residents

If a fire is set in a national forest, crime is a federal offense

Facing a series of eight suspected arsons in the past two weeks and four fires that may have been lit by the same person, arson investigators hope to keep ahead of the curve as summer heats up.

At least one of those fires threatened homes, property and lives.
