Stranded motorist robbed near Powell Butte

A man choked and robbed a Prineville woman Tuesday morning on Highway 126 near Powell Butte while she waited for help after her car ran out of gas, according to the Crook County Sheriff's Office.

The woman had been stranded on the side of the road for about 40 minutes waiting for someone to stop....
