Fire near Bend quickly knocked out

An abandoned campfire sparked a six-acre blaze Sunday afternoon about two miles southwest of the Broken Top subdivision. Firefighters and air tankers brought the fire under control in about four hours.

The Black Butte lookout called in the fire to the Central Oregon Interagency Dispatch center....
