Bones on Broken Top tentatively identified

Clothing matches that of hiker lost nine months ago

The State Medical Examiner's Office and the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office have tentatively identified human bones found on Broken Top Mountain as those of Danny Curran, 24, of Springfield, Pa.

Curran was reported missing Nov. 9 after he failed to return to camp from an ascent up 9,152-foot....
