United Way aims to collect $1 million

After 50 years, group's charity still growing

Hoping to turn one milestone into two, Deschutes United Way aims to celebrate its 50th birthday by bringing in more than $1 million, the organization announced this week. This is the first year United Way has tried to raise $1 million.
