July 1 will bring utility rate increase

Bend water and sewer customers will be paying higher bills starting July 1, when the city increases rates for the utilities.

On average, residents will pay a couple of dollars more each month for water, and about one dollar a month more for sewer, said Bend Finance Director Jim Krueger.
