Serious competitors, weekend warriors share Drake Park limelight

It started with a desperate uphill sprint in ski boots, some competitors gasping as they stepped into bindings while others barely seemed winded.

They skied and snowboarded downhill, then raced on cross-country skis before hopping on bikes and racing some more.
