DEQ says Cogentrix emissions too high

Power plant could meet criteria by changing some things

Emissions from Cogentrix's proposed power plant could " in some cases " exceed the recommended criteria for visibility in the highly protected wilderness area around Mount Washington, the state Department of Environmental Quality said in a letter to the company.
