Parole center in downtown Bend will make checking in easier for offenders

The Deschutes County office of parole and probation is opening a reporting center for offenders in downtown Bend.

Becky Jackson, director of adult parole and probation for Deschutes County, said she expects that about 30 people a day will pass through the center once it opens Monday.
