In a videotaped statement made with police on March 28, Lucretia Karle told detectives the fall-back plan in killing Barbara Thomas was to shoot her, but it was her idea to electrocute the 52-year-old woman.

Police found a bathtub full of water and a radio plugged into an orange extension cord....
