PRINEVILLE " Virgil VanAlstine, 93, considers himself lucky.

"I have a daughter here in town, and she pretty much takes me wherever I need to go," he said.

The Prineville man had to give up his driver's license about 20 years ago after losing his eyesight. He rides the Soroptimist....
