Logging executive calls for forest management

Ochoco Lumber says Wickiup, Crane Prairie area is fire threat

Unless the Forest Service logs 17 million board feet of timber from about 50,000 acres near the Crane Prairie and Wickiup reservoirs, the overgrown forest could fuel a catastrophic fire, a logging executive said.
