Some returned dogs hurt, others hungry and cold

PRINEVILLE - It's a hard life being a 200-pound dog - especially when you're miles from home.

"He was just sitting on the side of the road waiting," said Elizabeth Winslow, an attendant at the Human Society of the Ochocos.
