Power outages kill lights in 2,350 homes

Ice on the lines, wind storms were blamed for east Bend outages


December 24, 2001

A pickup that sheared off two power poles in west Bend and some equipment failures in east Bend early this morning turned the lights out in about 2,350 homes for several hours.

Homes in both northwest and northeast Bend were affected.
